Sebelum melampirkan lirik lagu Especially For You ini, aku akan sedikit bercerita mengenai MYMP. Terhitung sejak tahun 2011 aku tahu lagu ini. Awalnya memang hanya ingin menghafal lirik saja, tanpa harus tahu apa dan siapa MYMP itu. Setelah aku searching di mbah google akhir-akhir ini, ternyata MYMP itu singkatan dari 'Make Your Momma Proud'. Wow! Kaget sekali aku ketika mengetahuinya. MYMP merupakan band yang mengusung musik akustik yang berasal dari Filipina. Terdiri dari lima personil, dimana vokalisnya adalah seorang wanita bersuara indah. Filipina, negara asal mereka tak hanya memiliki MYMP yang go international. Sebut saja Cristian Bautista, penyanyi ganteng yang sering mampir ke Indonesia. Kemudian, ada gadis cantik berusia 18 tahun yang ternyata sedari bayi telah menjadi artis, Julie Anne San Jose.
